The 1st manga volume of Death Note I have has a rough and dry paper feel. These, however, allow your fingers to glide smoothly. I actually enjoy this paper a lot more, and the pages are thinner. 3. Box cover The book comes with a box cover to hold your book. It is a great display piece, but also, it gives protection to this big book. Death Note is a drama of ethics. The entire story unfolds with many questions and almost no direct answers, allowing the reader to make their own conclusions about the actions of the characters. From a Christian point-of-view, Death Note holds a lot of symbolic significance. The notebook itself is highly similar to the forbidden fruit in Genesis.
Death Note, Vol. 1: Boredom Tsugumi Ohba, Takeshi Obata (Illustrator), Pookie Rolf (Translator) 4.46 262,520 ratings4,566 reviews Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects - and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami, a death god. The key to Death Note 's happy success is the absence of anything really resembling a status quo. The story and its elements are continually in flux. If things remained simple I could see the book resolving in four or five volumes, but everything is constantly moving, constantly changing. It was a fantastic read. And smart.
Yamaguchi's Death Note guidebook contains 90 pages. Which are split between five sections, featuring information packed chapters - each with their own focus within the Death Note universe. Delve even more deeply into the nitty-gritty of Death Note via all the sub-sections keeping things tidy. The book's contents list is highly impressive.

Verdict: Death Note is an engrossing, deliciously fun dark horror comedy, and one I could not put down. I eagerly await continuing in the adventures of Light and Ryuk in the remaining manga! Definitely recommended for those who don't mind a bit of morbidity with their humor. Rating: 8 Excellent Reading Next: Goth by Otsuichi YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE
Death Note the anime is one of the best animes to come out for a very long time. The storyline is amazing but not complicated or cliché. Like the film and manga, it depicts the cat and mouse hunt between L and Light on who will uncover one another's identity.

Death Note by Caroline Mitchell is the first book in the Ruby Preston series. And, I liked it, it's a good first book. I especially liked Ruby Preston and her quite difficult home situations with her affair with a colleague and her on and off affair with an old flame on the wrong side of the law.
Death Note is probably the best anime series you could find out there. The series doesn't feature anything that would bother someone above the age of 11, but the series has a mature and dark theme that focuses around the sense of justice and it could really affect the mental growth of a child if they are not mature enough.
